Action Plan

Having reviewed the initial audit with regards to the application of Computing and ICT in the classroom setting, the areas I did not grade my self as highly: the use of voting devices and the application of mobile creativity apps will be the focus of my investigations.

You may see my initial grading below this paragraph and my action plan.

To improve upon my computing skills, I will undertake the following:

  • Research the use of mobile app creation software.

  • Investigate voting technologies for use in the classroom.

  • Strengthen my understanding of coding languages for children using The Hour of Code and Scratch to do this.

  • Continue to implement the use of an interactive whiteboard during GPP to hook children into learning.

  • Develop my teaching methods for demonstrating the use of database programs through observation and personal practice.

  • Continue to develop my online web-page documenting the application of computing and technology in the primary classroom.

Action Plan Review Feb 2016:
